Matthias Hacker, Chief Commercial Officer at Vaupell, has a proven track record of 20 years in program management and business development leadership roles. Throughout his career, he has developed and executed successful business development strategies and driven program management excellence, resulting in significant and sustained business growth.

Since joining Vaupell in 2016, Matthias has held various leadership positions of increasing responsibility. Together with his team, he has established a strong and sustainable footprint across Europe, significantly expanding Vaupell’s aerospace presence and securing major contract awards with Airbus and key European Tier 1 customers.

In his current role as Chief Commercial Officer, Matthias leads the global commercial strategy across Vaupell’s Aerospace, Defense, and Medical divisions. His scope also includes Product Innovation and Marketing, enabling a fully integrated and customer-centric approach to value creation.

 At the core of his leadership philosophy is a strong focus on customer experience and long-term partnerships. He believes that combining a deeply customer-centric mindset with a business philosophy rooted in trust, societal contribution, and the advancement of people’s well-being creates a powerful foundation for sustainable success.
