Mark Goss

Chief Executive Officer

Mark Goss is the Chief Executive Officer of Vaupell, a global highly engineered plastics and composites product solutions provider to the commercial aerospace, defense, and medical device industries. Mark has more than 30 years of experience in the leadership functions of Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Operational Excellence, having worked for some of the most recognized and heralded organizations in the world including, Collins Aerospace, Martinrea, Inc, Dana Corporation, GKN, Lear/IAC, and Toyoda Gosei.

Mark, who is originally from Alabama, holds an MBA from Belmont University in Nashville, TN and a BS degree from Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, KY.

Keiji Yamamoto

Keiji Yamamoto
Chief Financial Officer

Keiji Yamamoto, Chief Financial Officer, has more than 20 years of finance and accounting experience and has extensive knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards). Keiji joined Vaupell’s parent company Sumitomo Bakelite Japan in 2000 where he held Finance positions in Shizuoka, Macau, and Tokyo. He has been with Vaupell since 2022.

He brings to Vaupell the experience he gained as the administrative manager of a plastics manufacturing company in Macau, China, where he was instrumental in the recovery of the company’s performance. He has contributed significantly to improving Vaupell’s performance and expanding Vaupell’s business for the future.

Matthias Hacker

Vice President – Business Development & Programs

Matthias Hacker, Vice President of Business Development and Programs at Vaupell, has a proven track record of over 15+ years in various program management and business development leadership roles. Along his career he has developed and implemented successful Business Development strategies and organizational Program Management driven improvements resulting in significant business growth. Since joining Vaupell in 2016, Matthias has held various positions. He and his team have started a well-established footprint throughout Europe and continuously grown the European Aerospace business with prestigious contract awards from Airbus and our most strategic European Tier 1 customers. In his current role as Vice President of Business Development & Programs, Matthias oversees Aerospace, Defense, and Medical divisions for Vaupell. His role has been instrumental to put the “customer experience” first and develop strong partnerships with our key customers. “The vision and drive of our team comes from a very customer centric mindset connected with our business philosophy which is based on trust and a commitment to contribute to the progress of society and enhancement of people’s welfare. Jake Kraft

Executive Director of Engineering Innovation

Jake Kraft, Executive Director of Engineering Innovation, has a 16+ year track record as a leader in the Aerospace industry. With over 15 years of dedicated service at Vaupell, he has undertaken various roles, establishing engineering processes, leading product development teams, overseeing program managers, and contributing to some of the most challenging and rewarding aerospace programs worldwide. In his new role, Jake is working to develop innovative and sustainable solutions that provide value to society. “Our mission is to enhance the customer experience for all products that we bring to the market. We are focused on developing environmentally conscience solutions both at the time of manufacturing and at product end of life. To do this we will challenge the historically accepted designs and re-envision the product around our guiding principles of unitization, weight reduction and sustainability.”

Kelly Parent

Global Director Operations & Supply Chain

Kelly Parent, a dynamic leader tailored for high-paced environments, exemplifies fortitude in delivering consistent, positive results. She is a forward-thinker and prioritizes increasing efficiency and enhancing the customer experience, translating objectives into actionable plans. She has a proven 30+ year track record of delivering sustainable solutions. She has been with Vaupell since July of 2023 and previously spent over 11 years in the Aerospace segment holding various leadership roles in Operations and Supply Chain. Her core credentials cover a diverse range of expertise, including strategic business planning, lean operations, sales and marketing, integration and synergies, project management, strategic supply management, process improvement, and change management. Kelly is working to shape our operational policies to align with our strategic goals, focusing on efficiency and effectiveness and fostering a culture of high performance and operational excellence.

Mary Porter

Corporate Human Resources Manager

Mary Porter, a seasoned professional with many years of dedicated experience in human resources management serves as the Corporate Human Resources Manager at Vaupell. Starting her Human Resources career at Rena Ware Distributors, she has now played a pivotal role in shaping the Human Resources landscape at Vaupell for more than 26 years. She has been instrumental in developing and implementing effective HR strategies, policies, and programs to support organizational goals and enhance employee engagement. Her wealth of experience encompasses various facets of human resources, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and organizational development. Her commitment to creating a workplace that values diversity, inclusion, and professional growth has contributed to Vaupell’s success.

Jeremy Hunter

Business Director Aerospace – North America

Jeremy Hunter, Business Director Aerospace – North America, brings a robust management and business background of 20+ years of experience in the Aerospace industry. Jeremy has an extensive professional track record in Program Management and Business Development leadership roles; leading diverse cross-functional teams across Commercial, VIP, and Military sectors. During his career, Jeremy has led cross functional teams supporting aerospace solutions from premium class seating programs to complex interior reconfigurations. Jeremy joined the Vaupell team in 2023 and now spearheads the Program Management and Business Development efforts within North America. His proven ability to navigate complex product solutions to exceed customer expectations adds another layer of vital support to Vaupell customers. “Vaupell has a clear mission to be the product leader for our customers while driving sustainable innovation into every aspect of our organization and the products that we deliver.”

Jeff Schroeder

Business Director, Defense

With a tenure spanning 26+ years, Jeff has navigated through diverse roles within the company, including Tooling Supervisor, Program Manager, New Business Development Manager, and Aerospace & Defense Business Development Director. Jeff’s wealth of technical experience reflects a deep understanding of the industry, from managing tools and programs to driving new business development and commercial strategies.
Over the last 14 years Jeff has developed significant sales growth and solidified key contracts for Vaupell in the Aerospace and Defense segments with top OEM’s and Prime contractors. His customer centric and solutions-oriented approach, coupled with a deep technical background have helped Jeff build strong partnerships based on trust. With a passion for excellence and a dedication to pushing the boundaries of what’s possible, Jeff continues to drive win-win solutions to meet critical mission demands of the next-generation defense programs.

Ed Kangas

Business Director – Medical

Ed Kangas, Business Director – Medical, has over 25 years of experience in the manufacturing of products in the Medical and Life Science industries. Ed is an accomplished professional in business development, sales management, customer service, and marketing. In his current role at Vaupell, Ed plays a key role in steering the business direction for the Medical and Commercial segments. Ed’s commitment to excellence is evident in his ability to drive results and foster relationships integral to the company’s success. “Our goal is to foster long-lasting strategic relationships with our OEM partners. We believe that by working closely together, we can create products and solutions that not only meet but exceed the needs and expectations of our customers. Our goal is to add value at every stage of the product life cycle, from design and development to production and beyond.”
