Our Commitment to Sustainability & Cost-Efficiency
Featured Innovation: Cove Light Panels

We have developed a meticulous process that allows the plastic waste generated during the injection-molding process to be collected, inspected, shredded, and granulated into uniform pellets. These recycled granules are then blended with virgin material to form a mixture containing 20% recycled content. This new blend is melted and injected into precision molds to produce final aerospace components.

By recycling high-performance plastics, we reduce the need for virgin raw materials in the final assembled Cove Light Panels by more than 10%—while also diverting materials from landfills. This process significantly minimizes the environmental impact typically associated with traditional manufacturing.

Additionally, we have successfully tested Cove Light Panels using SABIC’s bio-based ULTEM™ 9085 resin, taking a step toward replacing oil-derived materials with bio-based alternatives through a mass balance approach.
